in a chase scene in losin' it, you could see a shot of the now defunct cook's market.

Well, you can blame Ritchie Valenz for that. If that fucking asshole had visited Calexico while alive, then maybe they would've shown a scene of him in Calexico, in the movie.

I believe that The Game, starring Michael Douglas and Sean Penn, had a small scene filmed on the Calexico side of the border. I know that they did some filming in Mexicali.

I also remember seeing a made-for-tv movie about some elite cop unit, starring Stephen Bauer, (I can't remember the name, but none of the ones on the list seems to remind me of it) that had some scenes filmed here in Calexico. One scene was at the park there on the border and the other was on the Calexico side of the border (they filmed it at the entrance to Mexicali, but with traffic heading the opposite way).

i know that they filmed a movie about kiki camarena, but i can't remember if any of it was filmed in calexico.

i also think that the opening sequence in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" was filmed around one of the highways on the imperial county side of the county line thing.
