My concern is, the plumbing system there is too old. I am very picky of where I eat, and how they serve the food etc.etc.
I can't say i was disappointed but I just think that it's a matter of sanitation.

So I ask again, where do you think you live? Somalia? There is nothing wrong with the water system, or plumbing.

I think the canal water is affecting your mentality. I never said there was something wrong with the water system. I never said anything about taste either, Rolling Eyes ay, ay,ay.

By the way, that "canal water" as you put it, gives me my superhuman powers.

Speaking from limited experience with construction and general building systems. The plumbing system being old has nothing to do with how the water tastes or any other hygenic issues you may have. Buildings far older than the buildings in downtown Calexico still have their original plumbing systems intact and working properly. Were there to be a plumbing system problem it would be quickly detected due to water leaks and promptly fixed.
