Why can't we just switch to more efficient fuels....ethonal? or use the hybrid cars.....i do'nt know how all that works..  |

This is likely the case, but don't you think major American corporations like GMC and Ford would have begun producing more alternative fuel vehicles than they already do at this very moment in order to adapt to Peak Oil?
Unless GMC is getting ready to really call it quits by simply branding Japanese cars with their logo.
Regardless, we're already too damn dependent on oil, so we are basically fucked. |

i've seen a couple of people (old) using their scooter on N. imperial ave. in el centro (in front of popeyes) traffic and all, i thought it was pretty cool |

Yeah but, if you read the article it explains why producing alternative fuel vehicles is not possible. It takes so much oil to get food on our tables and things like that. It takes oil to produce the batteries for the scooter and get them shipped to the valley. It takes oil to make tires for the scooter, bike, whatever. A lot of the tings we use, have things that were made by oil, with oil. |
