I recieved an email saying I was a lurker.... first, I am new to the internet and I really prefer choosing my own pass word to anything. When I want to visit this web-site, i have to go to my filing cabinet and look for the @#$! password! even though I do click were it says save my pass word, it always asks for it whenever I open another page here. So that is my reason for becoming a lurker....WAAA! any suggestions?
now I tried to post this as a reply for "Sticky" and now it tells me "invalid session" what up wit that?!!! |

Are you using a shared computer? Because if you are, then you're computer's settings may not allow you to save your password whenever you use this web-site.
Another thing is, I don't know if this site requires people to have their "cookies" setting on, but if it doesn't, then you may not have your "cookies" setting on and that is why it doesn't save your password.
The only other explanation would be that you always delete your cookies, or, you use a commodore. |

Your problem could be related to a lot of things.
If you're using a current version of any Web browser you should be OK. I personnally recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or higher. Don't even bother with the other ones because Microsoft won the Web browser war.
Another thing could be the Internet Service Provider (ISP) you are using. If you're signed up with a national provider (mainly AOL), then this could be your problem. When you browse the Web with AOL, you just don't get one IP address to be identified by, you get like 2 or three which is a problem when it comes to authentication on session-based Web sites like the Calecia.com Discussions.
This is the most common problem I've encountered in my experience and is most likely yours. If this is so, then all I can recommend is switching to another ISP because not only will you experience a better connection, but you'll be paying a lot less for it. |

The Calecia.com Discussions don't require you to have cookies enabled, only if you would like to save your login information. Besides that, everthing is server-based.

Most definitely. This Web site doesn't support the Commodore 64, but it does support the Atari 2600, although only while using the paddles. |
