I was watching CNBC's Closing Bell and saw that the DOW was down another 100 points today. When the show broke for commercial, they showed the 95th Calfornia Mid-Winter Fair & Fiesta advert. On the commercial they showed a kid with a mohawk playing electric guitar and then he baah'ed like a lamb. I thought WTF!? Is "punk rock" that main-stream in the valley now?
I most definitely won't be going to the fair again because it totally blows, but if you're interested... here are the details:

The only local band playing is Uranus. They are playing like twice everyday. By the way, that kid in the commercial is way punk. If you record the commercial and play it back in slow motion, you can clearly see that he is wearing a Sid shirt, probably unwashed as well!  |

If you're interested in going to the fair, you can get free tickets at the new auto dealership located where El Centro Motors used to be. I've seen the commercial a few times and they're inviting people to come in and get the free tickets to the Mid-Winder Fair, but they don't explain what you need to do for them.
It could be as simple as asking for them or you may have to actually test-drive one of their Mitsubishi vehicles. If you need to do the latter, you better not do that break-dancing/popping shit in the car 'cause if I see you, you're getting your ass kicked.  |

| Everybody be honest: Did you ever take those stupid black and white photos everybody used to wait in long lines for at these fucking fairs? I remember thinking these people were stupid for doing so when there were Mid-Winter Fair corndogs and caramel apples to eat. |

I did.
It was a lot more enjoyable and lasting than eating those disgusting pubic hair laced corndogs and rat feces smeared caramel apples you're talking about. |

They have the same booking agent as Hoopla the Clown, who (forgive me for not mentioning this before) will be appearing DAILY at the fair. I hope I can take a picture and post it in the gallery.

Oh so just cause you did take those stupid pictures we're all suppose to think again and say they are cool. I don't think soo, you may have been made to think those pictures were cool by your chick, but hey she probably also says your attractive. You can't believe everything you chick tells you.
