The law says we need to drive the speed limit. Some of us do and most of us don't. So when you exceed the speed limit, you run the chance of being cited. This applies to all citizens, right?
Obviously not.
When I drive the speed limit I get cars tail-gating my ass. Once the opportunity arises they pass me and usually end up cutting me off to display their aggression towards me. Hey, I can deal with that 'cause I do it some times too.
But what about when it's a member of law enforcement? Do they have carte blanche? In several occassions, I've had sheriff's department employees put the "pedal to the metal" after they pass me (usually in residential areas). This completely pisses me off, but what can I do? I sure as hell can't race them.
Well, I think I'll be carrying my camera with me more often, 'cause next time this happens I'll be taking some video and putting in a complaint. |
