I don't know if it's because we're Orange or they just need to meet their quotas, but the El Centro cops are pulling over vehicles left and right for exceeding the speed limit. I fell victim to this and I just barely went over 35 MPH. Thankfully they're just giving out warnings because the last thing I need right now is a fine and spending one weekend with a bunch of other law breakers.
Anyone else get cited? |

I heard from a few other people that La Brucherie Rd. is also being monitored by the cops. If this is the troof, then my assumption is that 4th Ave. isn't safe either.
My understanding for the increase in strictness by the ELC police is because of the new residential areas that are popping up. Residents are complaining about people hauling ass on their new turf. |
