| I heard on the radio a commercial for a "gentleman's club" in Winterhaven. Now that is bound to be profitable, but may not last long when the zealots burn it to the ground. |

I think elchrist is right, a sports bar that serves good food all the way till like 1a and drinks till 2a will work great in Calecia... for the crowd that wants to just chill without waiting 2-3 hours in line.
I think it could work well... especially for the older late 20's to late 30's ppls |

Well a good sports bar would be a hit in Calexico, restaurant during the evening and a bar that stays open with dj's or bands in the night. La Hamaca is great but the place is too small. Mike's place's restrooms stink like old piss and shit. I'm not hating just saying we could do better. What ever happened to the "Calexico Events Center"? They were rushing to get it built and now i see a "for sale or lease" sign outside. Fk, even holtville has Hot Rods N Beers, i've heard it aint that bad. Peeps from all over the valley swing by. I think if it offers cold beers and entertainment people from the valley and maybe upscale mexicalenses would come through.
Know of anyone who's got the money to invest? I'd be willing to help with audio, ligthing and visuals. All you really need is a nice decent sized place, decently priced brews and mix drinks, and some good music. There's lots of local talent here and in mexicali that would be stoked to come down and play. |

I think the "la hamaca" peeps should make the move to that events center... Or maybe B&B can create a different type of joint there more bar oriented than burger oriented... |

| I don't think B & B would go for that, they're business is already working pretty damn well. Besides, remember to the last B & B we had in Clx? It belonged to the black sheep of the fam. and he let it fail. I don't think they want anything to do with Calecia. |

| I think that if they got their act together Burgers and Beer could be more successful in Calexico. |

My point is B & B won't be opening a night club in Calexico.
Any entrepreneurs out there? Investors? |
