i don't know what you meant by 'conceptual art is "so 50's" '. but if you are trying to put conceptual art in a historical context, it started in mid to late sixties, and not in the fifties. Also, the exhibit 'pop to patito', as the title says, has a lot more influence from pop art(which coincidently, was a movement happening parallel to conceptualism) than from conceptual art, even though, the participating artists being working in the year 2003(and being schooled in LA-where conceptual art had very important pioneers: 'michael asher, john baldessari, john knigth, charles ray, etc.), are invevitably informed by conceptual art.

Will this exhibit be shown again, possibly at another venue, in the immediate future? I wanted to check it out, but a prior engagement did not permit it.

Can someone check the SDSU Gallery hours? I'm interested in taking some pictures for the Calecia.com Gallery.

Thank you.
