When you're filling out your High School yearbook questionnaire, please remember the following.

Favorite Quote or Saying implies something along the lines of: "Men ought either to be indulged or utterly destroyed, for if you merely offend them they take vengeance, but if you injure them greatly they are unable to retaliate, so that the injury done to a man ought to be such that vengeance cannot be feared." -- Niccolo Machiavelli, or "Religion is the opiate of the masses." -- Karl Marx

Not: "Que cute" or "For reals?"

Don't immortalize your stupidity.

Mine was something along the lines of:

"I think it only makes sense to seek out and identify structures of authority, hierarchy, and domination in every aspect of life, and to challenge them; unless a justification for them can be given, they are illegitimate, and should be dismantled, to increase the scope of human freedom."*

*Of course right after I said this, I saw that Noam Chomsky guy say it on t.v., and of course, he got the credit.

After putting a quote like this in your high school yearbook, prepare to be "utterly destroyed", yourself.

Probably. Most people have a tendency to get violent when the frailties of their social, political or religious belief systems are pointed out.

Fuck 'em.

I am quite positive that anyone with the balls (or ovaries) to write something like that in their yearbook would also have the balls (or ovaries) to punch back.

If I'm not mistaken.
