So much time has passed since I last visited Calecia.com.
After months of heated negotiations, elchrist has agreed to my conditions on a contract extension. Due to an oversight on the contract (thanks verbal  ) I am not able to disclose, and more importantly, gloat about the new perks I will be receiving as I return to moderate this site. I will say this though, I am happy to state that I will take great pleasure as I return to regulate content with an iron fist.
As I've tried to go through the content that has been added since I began my sabbatical, I did wonder, how do other people that disappear for a while handle it? Do they try to read up on everything? Or do they simply skim through topics that seem interesting, and risk missing out on some hidden gem?
I think I've decided how I'm going to tell with it, but what do other people do? |

Earlier in the year my sabbatical came to an end and I had the daunting task of catching up. I'll say that I may have read about 85% of the posts. The rest simply did not make it on my to do list.
Though, I have to say that I could have easily called it a career and never posted again, but here I am. |

| Hey elchrist, how bout we get some bumper stickers made to promote the site. Haven't seen much activity lately. There's only a handful of active users. Just curious, do you delete old, inactive accounts? |

It's summer time, so I think most of the disgruntled CHS teachers are on vacation...
We only remove spammy registrations. There was a time we removed inactive accounts, but we don't do that anymore.
There's no doubt Calecia.com needs some marketing. Preferably guerrilla marketing. |
