I have found that reading books in the bathroom is actually quite productive. I've spent hours reading books in the bathroom (yes, that's what I was doing).
What are some good bathroom reads?
I recommend the Sunday Comics.
It's cool when you laugh while you're sitting on the toilet because 90 percent of the time, you fart. |

Magazines, man. For me, it's a toss-up between Maxim, Stuff, Rue Morgue and Fangoria. |

I like to read Maxim. I also stay in the bathroom for long periods of time, especially since i leave with my vieja.
I can know say i fully understand Al Bundy's love of the crapper.
does any one remember "The Mighty Ferguson" |

maxim is great. comic books are great as well.
don't take novels because you get so lost in the story, you forget you're on the crapper. |

| I've taken novels into the shitter and been in there up to an hour. But truthfully I'll read just about anything when I'm taking a dump. I'll reach into the bathtub if there aren't any mags or books and read the labels of shampoos, soaps, shaving gels, and deodorizer sprays. Some of the stuff is pretty interesting. |

| I try to avoid reading anything that will make me loose track of time on the throne. You know you've been there too long when you wipe and there isn't even a hint of moistness. You know that dry shit crust will melt later in the day and give you a rash. |

Sometimes you need to lose track of time though. Sometimes when you take a dump, you wipe, wash your hands, go to the living room, turn on the t.v., get comfortable, and then realize it's time for round 2.
All this could have been avoided, if you would have spent another minute or two on the toilet. Not only did you waste time, but you wasted water, and toilet paper.

This is why in the topic "Household Tips", http://bbs.calecia.com/viewtopic.php?t=104, I recommended using baby wipes after wiping with conventional toilet paper, just to make sure you got it all. |

the problem with that is that round 2 doesn't usually start until after you flush and start reaching for the door. |
