1) Yes-Men:
People that will read an interesting, fun, or informative post and ruin it by putting, "YES", "YUP", "OK".
2) Cholo-Nako's
People that didn't read the post correctly or didn't really get it, and try to post something funny but end up looking like dumbasses.
3) Typical-Cholo's
When two or more guys are arguing post after post after post and eventually they get all pissed off at eachother and never say anything funny, offensive, or original. |

I don't know if this goes with number two.
But people who on one post jump to different tangents that have nothing to do with what they started writing.
I like to eat tacos |

Seriously Thread killers are not a good thing. I agree with spic-ole, your reading a good thread and laughing your ass off and then you get to the thread that says
"Yeah, that's cool"
What the shit is that. I suggest Calecia.com establish some sort of demerit system where thread killers get suspended for a week if they get to many demerits or some shit? |

No, we shouldn't do anything to them. Let them post, eventually they'll either get tired of posting stupid shit and they'll either post real feedback or stop posting entirely. That or the site will die because of them, either way, their posting stops.
This does need to be brought to people's attention though. Maybe they don't know that they're killing threads. This could be their first web-community, in time, they will hopefully learn. |

Personally, I don't think stupid posts, or "thread killers", are to blame. I believe the problem actually stems from a lack of posting on the board.
If we had more users posting, you would just ignore the stupid entries and move on to the next reply. Since that isn't happening, you wind up dwelling on the last retarded thing somebody said while you wait hours (days, even) for someone else to contribute to the thread.
The reality of the situation is this: Most people who sign up for this board never bother to come back, those few that do, only lurk. Every once in a while, one of them will post (and make you wonder why in the hell they even bothered to begin with.) Catch-22.
What can be done about this? Not much, really. Stupid people will continue come and (hopefully) go. Those who think this forum is akin to message boards or chat rooms on AOL, Yahoo!, etc. will eventually be sifted out; either by neglect or ridicule. The kids who come here will eventually realize that most comments posted here about High School are tongue-in-cheek and made by people who graduated 5 to 10 years ago.
What we need to do is spread the word about the forum, and Calecia.com in general. It'll take some people time to get over the implied cholo connotation that comes with naming the site after Calecia, but they'll get over it. I no longer see the influx of cholos we had before.
We'll see how things turn out. Hopefully for the best.
Yeah, and maybe I'm a Chinese jet pilot. |

Are you suggesting that people have read Catch-22.
People from Calexico, CA.
On their own. |
