I don't know.....
But, what happend to fiesta tortillas??? For those that are tortilla connoisseurs. It seems now that Fiesta has added "preservatives" they are no better and taste no better than the others at the supermarket. I used to like them because of their homemade taste. The fact that they went bad in a week or two solidified the fact that they were fresh and you really had to eat them quick.
Which tortilas that are store bought are your favorite and why??????
........anyone care to share. |

| A few years ago I came across "La Buena" tortillas. I buy them at Sol Market. They're actually made in Mexicali. My boy RandR has actually gone to the place where they make them in Mex and bought some. |

Fiesta Tortillas were/are the best.
I haven't had them in years, so I hadn't noticed that they changed the recipe. Maybe the lady with the recipe died...
Fiesta Tortillas Corporation (NYSE: FTC) is headquartered in East Brawley. Maybe we need to do some undercover investigating at their operation and do some of our very own quality assurance testing. Though we will need the assistance of some hard hitting Calecianos to infiltrate our way into the city.
Lately the only tortillas I eat at home are Guerrero's Trigueños. They are a great alternative to those who want to eat healthier and taste great.
Death to whomever buys Costco tortillas. |

The thing with the fiesta's are that they get all cracked and brittle after you cook them. You can't even make a burrito out of them anymore because they crack and everything falls out.....oh well...
But they last longer.....cuz of the preservatives.....they don't have that
"no preservatives" claim to fame. |

| Nothing like going to Sol back in the day and having to sift through the moldy Fiesta tortilla packages. In search of the freshest. |

Fiesta is actually from Brawley.
Looks like Brawley businesses like to expand to Imperial, just like Johnny's Burritos did. The must see dollar signs there. |

| I understand the statement "death to whoever buys Costco tortillas" because ofthe principle of it, but why? They legitimately taste good and are a great alternative to making homemade tortillas. |

Yeah, I was just kidding. I don't wish any harm upon tortilla eaters anywhere.
Are they better than Fiesta's? |
