It's hard to imagine how Cuau can keep elevating his game when it counts the most. What vision and awareness can do on the field.

Mexico didn't finish as they should have, but they made it. What a journey indeed. Hopefully, Aguirre gets his wish and is allowed to call most of the players months in advance to the World Cup.

It should be a great Summer.

On Cronometro, there was talk about having El Tri play as a team during the Clausura 2010. That would be cool, but unproductive. They should be trying to schedule friendlies with teams they can't beat.

They should play all the African teams. Play against speed.

They could start with T&T. They couldn't keep up with their speed.

Or they could play Ghana's U-20. They just won the FIFA U-20 World Cup vs. Brazil.

Ghana Gana el Mundial!

I still think Vasco should have called up Nery.

Nery, killed his own chances by not playing for more than 2 years. His speed will be missed.

You know that during this time both his parents died and he got divorced?

Like realneo used to say, "sounds like a personal problem."

At the end of the day, he was reluctant to alter his contract and refused to play in Mexico. With all his issues, it was reported he could have played for Chivas last year so he could start getting into game shape, yet he refused to play in Mexico. This is all his doing.

His selfishness cost him a World Cup.

Not a fan of some of the potential starters, but I wish that anyone who starts or plays, makes great plays on the pitch. An opening win can set the tone for a great Cup.

Vamos muchachos!
