You're talking about the Native American teacher, right? Wasn't he a History teacher?

I remember being in his class one day when we had to take some school-wide test.

The PE teachers during my time were Bartow, Tesada and Dillon (AKA Casanova).

Mr May, from when I was at De Anza was the Driver's Ed instructor for the freshmen. I know he did that for at least another year before he retired, then I saw him as a referee for a few Varsity Football games over the years.
He had an awesome way of telling you the dangers of driving a motor vehicle. "You better be careful pepito, or else BAM!!! You're talking to Jesus" funny stuff

Yup. I never had him for PE though. Always had Bartow.

Ithink you're right, he must have retired. I never went to De Anza, but when I played football my Junior year of high school he was the kicker's personal coach. He would personally oversee the guy's workout (seemed grueling) and teach him the proper form and technique for various kicks. He was funny, I liked him! I was surprised to find out he played football at UCLA.

Now that you say that, you are correct, he did personally train the football kickers. I remember one time he was rambling on in class on how they gave him a new kicker and didn't tell him that he was a previous soccer player so he was teacher him the wrong way to kick. that was a BORING day.

Back in 2004 or so I know he was still teaching at De Anza, but once Mr. T passed away, I heard he was going to retire. Over the years Mr. Tesada and Mr. May became good fishing and drinking buddies.
