Due to the insufficient and last minute withdraws of players, I have decided to not go through C.com softball league. People were just dropping out like Continuation HS kids. Thank you for those who were interested and answered back. Practice has been canceled. |

| The city needs to do a better job at promoting it's recreational activities. Unless you've already been involved in a tournament year in and year out, it's kind of hard to put together a team when the deadline is less than one week away. |

True, maybe they didn't promote the Calexico Men's softball league accordingly, but regardless, I really wanted to have a team representing C.com and due to people's schedule, it was nearly impossible. Maybe next time Fellows. |

The city is horrible at advertising things. I didn't even see the standard crappy sign that looks like it was put together in two minutes hanging off of Rockwood for this.
Would have been good to know at least a month ago to have been able to plan accordingly. |

We should just start up a renegade league that plays on Saturdays. I'm sure that would work a lot better than during the week. |

The reality is we need a sport that requires less players. Something like basketball, tennis, handball, wrestling.
In baseball/softball, if you are short one player you are screwed. Everyone will be trying to hit at the open position. |

Sucks to hear that. RandR and myself were excited about playing. |

| I saw on the sports section today (Saturday) and they still had the softball league sign-ups. Did they extent the deadline? |
