JC JR would even last 6 rounds with Cotto. So if youre talking betting money Chavez JR. it wouldnt go the distance to a decision where Cotto would be robbed. Totally different breed of fighter, JC JR needs to consider retirement after that hermosillo fight two weeks ago. |
I was just kidding about JC JR.
I think it's been mentioned in the media that he fought in Hermosillo with the flu/fever, so that is why he underperformed. He ran out of gas in the late rounds.
Even so, JC JR will NOT become one of Mexico's next great fighters. Too bad, because his name can do so much for the sport. |

I only caught the last 3 rounds of the JC Jr. fight.
He flat out looked terrible. I was surprised he didn't get knocked out.
That's what happens when your father lines up a bunch of tomato cans and mechanics to fight.
One word comes to mind to describe JC Jr. - Pampered.
On Tv Azetca, I wouldn't want to wait. If everyone is at a pistiada and waits together, then maybe. This fight, is a must see at a bar or with a bunch of hooligans. |

prime time its gotta be. carne asada or mariscos ready around 6-8pm, some cold ones kicking in the buzz, right in time for the main event.
does anyone know what time they will air the delay on Azteca? |

| The undercard really sucks for this fight, but they almost always do for any fight. Margarito is very inconsistent, he has some great fights, then some really bad ones, so who knows which margarito comes out this saturday. If he fights like he did vs cintron, then this will be a great fight. Cotto on the other hand, has lacked fighting top notch fighters. This might be Cotto's first Vegas fight if i'm not mistaken, so that will surely affect him also. Hopefully its a good fight for the good of boxing, although in my opinion not worth the $50 bucks for PPV, TV Azteca all the way, who the fuck can't wait an extra 2 hours to see it? It also gives you an extra 2 hours of drinking time, therefore you're drunker come fight time, and it's funner that way. |

I checked this morning on Dish Network and it looks like 8PM. Although the description said it was the JC JR fight. I set it to record anyway, since I might not be able to see the fight live. |

I might be out of town on Saturday, but if not I will definitely give you a ringa-ding-ding seņor.
Problem is we gotta find a bar that shows it live. Cotorro is cool, but they seem to always show the delayed broadcast.
Anyway, I hope I'm in town cause I wanna see this fight. |

I normally would agree with both your takes, however, I will admit I have bought the hype. I need it live.
elchrist, I don't know your destination, but if you're traveling to the SD area, and you want to catch a free fight, try Seau's. They don't charge to see the fight. So you get the best of two worlds: free and live. |

Correction: Dish will have "Boxing" on TV Azteca at 7 PM. |
