I've heard one person mention it so far that it's a fact. |

Oh, Mexicali kids and their wishful thinking. It seems that for every fad in Chicali there's seems to be a corresponding rumor. When the ska scene was big, it was The Specials, Manu Chao, and the surprise return of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. When metaleros where the big thing, it was Metallica and I even heard a Slayer rumor. Now that there seems to be an overabundance of pop nerds/hipsters/indie rockers/emos, it totally makes sense that now it's The Pixies. 90 pound nerds must be soiling themselves right now if they believe this.
Don't get me wrong, I would totally go to this if this were true, but I'm afraid it isn't. I believe they only got together for that one year (probably because they needed extra money) and as far as I know, there hasn't been any talk of them touring again.
So to all the Chicali kids, put your dick back in your pants and stop crying. |

I'm not being pessimistic, I'm being realistic. Their official website hasn't been updated in over a year, and according to Wikipedia, Frank Black has said that the reunion was "over". I know I came of as a cynical asshole, but that's just me.
And about the Apple store, I kind of believe it. "Neta, que padre wey, mi iPhone esta mega super chingon". I can already hear it. |

I replaced the 7 with an 8 in the URL and they have some pending tour dates. Mexicali IS one of them!
