I got a text saying that a new events center is being built west of Denny's/ex-Texaco gas station. Does anyone have any info on this?
Also, they said there was a "Mundial" Bar & Grill that was going to be opening up in the same area. What's the scoop on this place? |

Sounds to me like another Spot/Coyote Wells/Buddy's Place/Studio Z. They hype it like it's going to be an "events center" and turns out to be just another hang out for slutty single moms, bald headed wanna-be tough assholes, ex-jocks, and your local off-duty law enforcement personnel.
But I'm just a cynical asshole who is bitter about not "fitting in" to those places, so what do I know? |

I passed by earlier and it seems like the Mundial Bar & Grill place will be family oriented, since the banner read the words "family," "fun", "food" and "pool." I might be off with one of them, but it won't be a straight up bar. The logo isn't bad either, so that's a good start.
The events center place seems to be a "salon" which will be an alternative to the community center and OLGA.
There might be more businesses in the building, since it looks like there are a few suites in the banner illustration. |

The restaurant inside Price Center. It's right in the middle of the building. |

I never dared eating there, even though I have ventured at Donuts Ave. |

What's the status with the event center and Mundial?
The building looks ready to go, but I've seen no progress for quite a while now. |
