I've noticed lately that the Calexico PD meter maid has been cruising around town in their Interceptor 3-wheeler and citing vehicles parked in front of homes. This on both sides of the tracks. I realize this is within their jurisdiction, but don't that have more important places to be?
Maybe they should be cruising through alleys downtown to see if they're able to find any dead bodies, drug usage, stashed vehicles, or any other citation worthy situations. Take advantage of their ultra-compact vehicle and get right in there where police cruisers can't. Or is this already being taken care of by the Segway-powered meter maid?
It just seems like Calexico's meter maids could be patrolling some more high traffic areas instead of residential areas.
And yes, I got a warning that my vehicle looked abandoned and was at risk of being towed. It's not my fault this hellhole covers your car in dust within a week. I like driving around in filthy cars as it lowers my risk of being kidnapped. |

Its probably the one girl with an afro... she thinks she is Gods gift to men... I too got a warning to move my vehicle and I use it everyday so go figure  |

It funny 'cause as I was getting home from work yesterday, I saw the (Mad Max) "Interceptor" driving by my cross street. I was praying they'd stop to issue me another ticket since I only had one day left to move my piece of tin. I wanted to see how desperate this meter maid was. They kept going, so I wasn't able to have any fun with them.
I don't think it was a female, so maybe they have a few Interceptors patrolling Calexico. I know they love cruising by Sto. Tomas on the weekends. Damn vultures just waiting for the 2 hour parking to expire. |
