How desperate and pathetic do you have to be to steal a 3-foot tall brass church bell?

Some scumbag thief stole a bell at one of the El Centro churches last night.

Even more pathetic will the scrap metal dealer when they fork over some cash to melt this thing down.

A couple of weeks ago some scum in Mex stole my father's catalytic converter from his car. After talking with people around town, it seems that these people can exchange the metals for a good 40-60 bucks on the black market (felt like saying it).

A friend of mine also had his catalytic converter removed. What was surprising is that it was removed with some welding equipment because it was visible the acetylene melting on the edges of the pipes. These thiefs are very professional, I wonder how they got the equipment on the underside of the car.

Quick, let's invent a steel plate shield to lock up the underbellies of our cars.

better yet, we can park our cars upside-down so that if someone does attempt to steal my catalytic converter, they would be exposed to public view and not be hid by my car... also, if you were trying to steal the entire vehicle itself... you would have to get a couple of people to help you flip it first..
