Looks like F Street Adult Book Store is NOT going to open up at the shopping plaza near the IV Mall. Apparently they had to pay a part of an underground canal, so it turned out not to be "economically viable" for F Street. Having to pay for this canal work sounds ridiculous to me if you're a business owner looking to expand into a new market.

Although I'm sure there's more behind F Street not opening a shop in Imperial County. 'Cause you know this would be a breeding ground for pedos and maniacos, right?

I know a couple of people who own businesses in El Centro and they get pretty worked up about the fees they were asked to pay when they were starting up. Basically, no one likes paying for anything. If it wasn't business owners, it would be tax payers. Either way there would be complaints. Loud complaints. But hey, EC has good infrastructure and a well maintained park. Maybe it's not such a bad thing
