According to an article on msn.com, George Carlin passed away yesterday (June 22nd) at 5:55 pm.

I shall never say those 7 words again.

Not only was he a comic, but he was a modern philosopher.

This country is full of nitwits and assholes. You ever notice that? Nitwits, assholes, fuckups, scumbags, jerkoffs, and dipshits. And they all vote!

In fact, sometimes you get the impression they're the only ones who vote.

RIP Mr. George Carlin, one of the most brilliant comics of all time.

I love watching stand-up comedy on TV. Anytime you see comics, regardless of age or level of success, they all bow to Carlin anytime he's even mentioned. My condolences go especially to spic-ole. You've been saying those seven words for as long as I've known you, which I think goes back to age 5 or 6.

Dude, if GC knew me and I would die I'm pretty sure he'd say the same shit about me.

This is how Carlin would like to be sent off, not with that RIP BS. Now that he's dead, he's not going to take the time to read everyone's RIPs on the Internet. And he sure isn't in heaven or hell, although I bet he asked for forgiveness right before he croaked.

I'm just glad I finally saw him perform live before he "passed away." I knew it was coming.

Man, I loved that guy, you had to laugh because it was true, that is comic genius, sure it ruffles some feathers, but again it was true. Gonna miss that crazy bastard. Sad

HBOCY had a George Carlin marathon on Saturday with all his HBO specials.

Doin' It Again (1990) is what made me a fan.
