I've noticed TV has been blowing lately as all the seasons have come to end and you can switch through 250 channels and not find anything interesting on, even when you have a DVR. It's even worse when you realize how much you're paying for cable/satellite TV and it's all garbage. This makes me consider just canceling my service, but I know I'll be regretting it within a week.
So hopefully this thread aptly titled "What to watch on TV" will help those who are found in this dilemma. So please keep it alive by listing good and entertaining television programming that is worth the time involved sitting on your couch. But please, no Lost, Daily Show, SportsCenter, Oprah, Pimp My Ride, Shot of Love... Preferably one-time broadcasts or completely unique shows/specials that you normally get blatantly thrown in your face during other crap TV shows.
Anyway...
For those who have HBO, check out Dana Carvey's 1-hour comedy special titled "Squatting Monkeys Tell No Lies." It's brutal and 90% funny throughout. Dana Carvey is one funny mofo.
I do need some help with non-premium channels. |

| Well, if you liked Sex and the City then you might like My Boys on TBS. This is one of my guiltiest pleasures. My wife started watching and I tried to hate it but got sucked in. Nothing really special about this show, it's just a fun, easy watch, especially because its season starts in the summer. |

Tonight (9PM) HBO is showing a documentary titled Ganja Queen about a young Australian female who was caught in Bali, Indonesia "smuggling" in 10 lbs. of marijuana.
Drug trafficking is punishable by DEATH in many southeast Asian countries and having been to some of these places you do get a bit paranoid about your luggage after seeing the warnings as you arrive at the airport, even if you aren't involved in drugs. |

Two and Half Men, is pretty money.
Watch South Park's episode 146 (Dog Whisperer) then watch the real Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer show. Awesome.
Lost. |

The miniseries Generation Kill on HBO about the Iraq war is pretty cool.
It premiered this weekend and is a total of 7 episodes. |
