Anyone watching?
ESPN Deportes and ESPN are showing the games. Thank goodness for DVRs. I get to watch the games when I get home. |

Turkey just beat the Swiss in compensation time, 2-1.

Why do they announce this in the middle of an important tournament?
At least Cristiano Ronaldo said he wouldn't make a decision to go to Real Madrid until after the Eurocopa. |

| I don't know what is up, but has anybody else noticed that the quality of play has been overall pretty shitty? The only game that is exempt from being borderline boring has been the Holland vs Italy game. Then you have people saying that THIS IS the world cup, except for Brasil and Argentina. My ass, the Latin American teams definitely give more life to the world cup, be it ecuador or paraguay (just two examples) who are ranked in the 20's or 30's, but yet when it comes to the world cup, they definitely give the big european teams a run for their money. The only teams that you could say have been, and are usually pretty decent are Germany, Portugal, Holland, Spain and I'm pretty sure Italy will wake up and improve their game, but that is it. Czech Republic and France have looked pretty shitty so far, of course they have only played one game, but I can't imagine much improvement. From there one, the rest of the teams are mediocre to shitty. So having 4 or 5 good teams in a tournament of 16 teams, doesn't really make for an exciting tournament. Just my two cents. |

| I don't see anything wrong with Scolari announcing that he's leaving to coach Chelsea, cause he's just coaching and unlike Cristiano Ronaldo, he plays a more important role on the field and needs to have his full concentration on the tournament on hand. BTW, Ramon Diaz of Argentina will be coming to coach my beloved Aguilas del America! Excellent news if you ask me. |

Nobody asked you, did they?
This is the best America could do to rebuild a last place finishing team: Hire an Arg as a coach? What happened to Frank Rijkaard?
Euro 2008 hasn't produced many exciting games, but at least there are some goals being scored. C. Ronaldo finally got his first goal. It looked like he was going to start crying if that didn't happen.
Sucks that it's hard to find video for the games online. UEFA has pulled any uploaded videos on YouTube and euro2008.com doesn't show any actually gameplay. Weak. |

Free beer for life to each Austrian player that scores a goal in Euro 2008.
If they don't score, this will be the saddest moment in sports history. |

| I have been watching. I catch the ESPN Deportes coverage, Kempes and Brailovsky are fun to listen to. I agree, the level of this tournament isn't all that great, let's hope it improves. France looks like shite now that they don't have Zidane (maybe they'll wind up winning it now?). |

Oh, snap!
Italy tied Romania. Could the world champs be looking towards an early exit? |

Damn, that comeback by Turkey was awesome. I thought for a moment the Czechs were going to tie it up especially with the Turkish goalie being red carded.
Definitely the best second half I've seen in this tournament. |
