I believe we've had a similar topic to this in the past. Calecia.com posts on music have been somewhat scarce lately so I invite you all to post and rant or rave about what's in your CD player, Zune, Ipod, tape deck, turntable, 8 track, walkman, etc., as of now.
With me, it's been the following:
Pentagram - lots of them
La Banda Trapera del Rio ('77 Spanish punk rock) - complete recordings LP
Dirtbombs - lots of them also, since I've still got quite a buzz from the awesomeness of their show a few days back
RKL - almost everything, will never get enough of this hardcore band
And pretty much all my Killed By Death Comps.
So share your awesome music selection that's just making you jump up and set an elite member of society's car on fire. |

I've got a little bit of everything on my iPod, my favorites are
Heroes del Silencio, especially their "Tour 2007" live track's. Listening to this never gets old
Pearl Jam
Foo Fighters
Johnny Cash
Jimi Hendrix |

Been checking out The Racounteurs-Consolers of the lonely disc, This is my first disc from them, but I am digging it, kinda like AC/DC meets Wings meets the beastie boys. yeh, like that. |

I have the first 10 or so KBD comps. I'll need to get the rest. |

Seriously, KBD comps are one of the best inventions since sliced bread. I like paying 12 bucks to listen to a limited pressing tune rather than pay 100 bucks for the 7". |

| Stuff from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Spoon, Motorhead, some of the new R.E.M. and the Eagles of Death Metal (they're not death metal). |

I tried to get into BRMC a couple of years ago and couldn't. Is there something in their sound that I'm underappreciating, or is it the type of band you either like or you dont? |

I just got into Nirvana - Incesticide.
I had never gotten into it before 'til now, and it's pretty fucking awesome. There has been some past Nirvana hate among C.com posters, but if Nirvana has a redeeming factor, it's got to be this album.
Their rendition of "Molly's Lips" by the Vaselines is catchy as fuck. Too bad bay area pop-punk rockers Fifteen totally ripped off the riff for their song "Family Values". |

For the last couple of days, all I've been listening to is Maiden and Anthrax. Getting ready for their show at Irvine Meadows on Saturday. It's gonna be the shit.
Also been listening to a Dio.
Go out and seek the new Testament album. It's great. All original members except for the drummer. But even he is ex-Slayer skin pounder Paul Bostoph. |
