Do we need an Education forum?

I'd like to see more discussion going on about our local school system so that the community can be more aware of what's going in our schools.

Does anyone else feel we need an education forum?

It would be nice. I invite Teachers, Future Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Janitors, Students, and yes, unfortunetly Administrators as well to inform us of what is going on throughout our schools. Many schools have a Teachers/Principle meeting every Monday once school is over. Perhaps some Teachers might give us a headline of what's going on.

I think it's clear the locals want to express their frustration with Calexico schools, and hopefully they'll also point out progress when they see it.

When teachers, parents, city council memebers and parents are all discussing education issues on this site, it's a beautiful thing.

Well, I went ahead and created an Education & Learning forum while the feedback was positive. Didn't want to wait until the district board and adminstration signed up and said, "Nah, that's a bad idea. Only stupids would think it was a good idea."

I mean, don't they have a lot to say about the current state of Calecia schools?

No but what we really need is a chat room were we can get some honey's to show us some Tits on CAM.
