Good question. You could definitely start here:

GoPetition - How to Start a Petition
http://www.gopetition.com/howtostartapetition.php

If you don't mind me asking, who's the principal you want to oust?

You probably won't be able to get him fired because the highly qualified director of human resourses found him qualified for the job and also found his actions to be correct....(jajaja)

Plus...they're 2nd cousins on the mom's side..so that's impossible....and it doesnt hurt that everyone on the school board is a god mother/father to one of thier kids..

oh..and...maybe next year...that person might run for city council..so he/she is exempt for any kind of termination.

sonia91 u don't state why u want to get rid of the Principal at JN?

Is it because the kinder incident, get over that, that happens at all schools.

Kids will be kids and they will do whatever they want.

Anyways, under the NCLB you have the right to send your child(ren) to any school that is not under Program Improvement. In Calexico, that would be Cesar Chavez Elementary School and this is only because they are a new school.

Let's see how long before they get into Program improvement. The NCLB expectations are unrealistic and eventually all schools will be in PI.

At the beginning of the next school year the district must notify all parents that all schools in calexico are under PI, except Cesar Chavez. And you as a parent have the right to have your kids attend any non-PI school. You simply fill out the form and the district MUST grant your petition. The problem is that parents are not persistent enough and allow the district to drag their feet. Hope this helps.

it has nothing to do with the kinder thing... but it does have to do with the fact that I want a better education for my children and I know that he is not getting there at jefferson ... also I do not like the way Padilla anwers or treats people... he acts like he is the only authority and if you don't like it too bad... plus a number of run ins I've had with him this school year I already have 2 at another school so they should be able to keep them where they are already
