NEWARK, Del. (AP) Newark police say a 20-year-old University of Delaware student was robbed over the weekend.
But the robbers didn't take the victim's cash or credit cards instead, they made off with his hot pizza.
It happened around 3:20 a.m. Saturday. The victim was carrying a pizza on South Chapel Street when police say four young men asked him why he was walking so fast.
The victim then felt what he believed to be a gun pressed against his back, and he gave up the pizza. The four assailants fled in a minivan that was parked nearby.

What the hell is up with this? Just imagine yourself walking home with a delicious piping-hot pizza ready to eat when some dude just pulls a gun on you and forces you to give it up. That's the same as if you're about to have the best sex of your life with the girl of your dreams when someone walks into the room and blows the girl's brains out. Not only is the girl dead, but the blue balls might kill you too.
Amazing. |

Financially smart thieves.
With the US dollar dropping in value, I'd have taken the pizza instead of the money too. |

| something similar happenned to me a few years back. I was robbed of a box of dozen donuts at the Donut shop on IPL ave in Calexico. I got my box of donuts and put them on a table to play video games with my son and when I turned around they were gone. What kind of a world do we live in when a man can't buy pizza or donuts without fear of being robbed? |

This is completely your fault for not training your kid at a very young age to watch your stuff while you're busy playing video games. |

| I'll tell you this much, someone tries to take my pizza ... he better be ready for the fight of his life. He'll have to take the pizza from my dead, fat hands. He'll have to take the first slice (always the best slice) from my mouth as I would have used my last breath of life to eat as much of it as I could. |

| Despite my disdain for this incident, I carry my pizza home piping hot all the time and this has yet to happen. The terrorists still haven't won. |
