US-Mexico border hazardous disaster preparedness

Good to know a bi-national program between the US and Mexico is in place to protect people living along both sides of the border in the event of a disaster.

The U.S. – Mexico Emergency Preparedness and Response Program has met and is still meeting in Yuma/San Luis RC to simulate a hazardous disaster.

This is part of the U.S.-Mexico Environmental Program (Border 2012).
