There's also a $250 reward for information leading to the conviction of taggers (9.33.150 Graffiti—Reward). Turn in a tagger and you can use that money to buy yourself a Nintendo Wii, iPod/Zune, digital camera, etc.

I know what I'll be doing this weekend, and all next week. Tagger hunting, baby. That'll get me through this recession.

I'm impressed. I submitted a request for graffiti removal on the corner of Cole and Yturralde and I got the following response from the Calexico Chief of Police:

Hello elchrist,

I went by the location you identified and you are right, it does look bad. We will be having a graffiti cleanup this Saturday, May 10. I've already made plans to get that paint off of there this Saturday.

That's a good idea, but I think it only applies to city property.

They cleaned up the graffiti on Cole and Yturralde.

Thanks CPD.

I guess reporting graffiti does work.

That sucks. They tagged up the sign at Cesar Chavez Elementary thanking the community for its tax money.

Taggers must be the most unoriginal bastards on the planet or they really love their city. Maybe they need friendly reminders that they are still in Calecia so they won't get jumped.
