Screw trying to get used to it. Those little dogs are delicious. One more night of yelping and it would have been on the BBQ.

Thanks to G1's advice, I burnt down my entire neighborhood. Now we're all homeless, lawnless AND dogless. Feels good to not be tied down to any materialistic possessions and I think this has made the entire neighborhood a tighter, more close knit community.

We all say hi to each other now as we step out of our tents or as we run into each other at the outhouse.

Is there any community within Calexico that has a HOA?

I don't think they exist in Imperial County. They're all just community facilities districts and maintenance and lighting districts.

I think the condos next to the All American Canal on Andrade Dr. have one. Also, the new gated community of townhouses kinda behind Circle K must have one too.

But I don't think the housing divisions do. If you want to go ahead and paint your house pumpkin orange and do your concrete purple, you're free to do so. Just as long as you don't do the same to your mailbox.

The Villa Hermosa II development behind El Sol that's on the corner of 98 and Andrade has an HOA. By that I mean there is an entity that I pay 175 bucks to every month, but what service this entity provides me is a mystery.

Do what I did with my back neighbor's dogs. They would come over to my backyard and dig holes, barked if a fly would pass by and just made my nights misereable! One day, he was digging holes all over my backyard like a grave digger and said enough is enough. I started to give him some bologne, they love that shit, and just picked his ass up, put it in my car and drove to good ol' Heber. Dropped him off at a field and now he's living with the coyotes. Did this shit twice. My neigbor is a one of those chicalones with an attitude. After living 7 years he finally comes over to my house and has our first conversation, "Excuse me, I'm your backyard neighbor, have you seen my dog? My reply, no,
nice to meet you. You want me to do that for you?
