As far as full-length albums go, "... Thanks for the Shoes" is the last strong album from start to finish. All of them before that are one hit (hit in our sense of the word) after another. But "the Decline" is definitely cool. I love that it's like a symphony, with refrains and codas, movements. It doesn't just sound like some shit 20 minute song where everything is thrown in and nothing gels.
I've got my ipod with me. I think I'l listen to "the decline" right now. |

| The PMRC Can Suck on This EP is hands down, the best NOFX recording. Anything done after Ribbed just sounds like your typical early 90's pop punk which was, for the most part, one of the worst music scenes ever. |

OMFG. I was going to jokingly make a reference earlier as to how the real (NOFX) punks only like the PMRC Can Suck on This and anything from their Mystic Records era.
Man, you're uber-punk! |

Let's not get into this. I should have added that Thin Lizzy, at this point, is still more punk rock that even the heaviest of NOFX records. NOFX just isn't a band that I could pop in my record player that much anymore. It might bring back some nostalgia about the time when NOFX was playing at some party celebrating the end of 8th grade where making out with the girl I had a crush on all year turned into dry humping, then having her sophomore boyfriend in the varsity football team burst into the room then beating my four-eyed ass.
To come to think of it, it doesn't even bring that great of memories. |

Hahaha.
On film, that would've made a great punk rock music video. |

I don't know if that's reasult of them becoming more political or just getting old. "Wolves in Sheep's Clothing" (or is it the other way around) is almost unlistenable. But the new live album, "I Heard they Still Suck Live" is tits. |
I don't think anything since "So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes" is bearable.
I can't say that I've heard all of their stuff since that album, but what I have heard just doesn't feel like NOFX. I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with me, but f you elchrist, I know you love to sport your "The Declined" shirt. |
Funny how you completely avoid the fact that you were busted talking shit.... |
I know I've seen NOFX on MTV. I have no real proof other than my own memories. I'll never forget it because I remember I was at a friend's house and he had MTV on, and then, a NOFX video came on. It broke my heart. I vowed to never get another NOFX tattoo again. I shaved my mohawk that night. I shed so many tears in the following weeks. I don't even want to talk about it anymore, I need to go get my Zoloft now. |

| Alright children, stop already. You're arguing about NOFX. You both have gotten nowhere, other than brought back painful memories for me. Now, I'm gonna have to play some Taking Back Sunday and cut myself. I know you guys are hardcore punks, so don't take this as an opportunity to find me and beat my emo ass up. |

That was comedy gold. I was dodging "ejects" left and right.
Did I strike a nerve with the shaving the head part? |

Looks like you're taking this to a personal level, which is against one of the Calecia.com Rules and Regulations, asshole-io. |
