I forgot to mention that my car only takes 91+ octane or higher, so I am already getting screwed about 20 cents more than others per gallon. |
You must be a very religious person. Do you always believe every thing you read in a book/manual? |
Everywhere I've read same car owners have reported a pinging noises coming from the engine with anything less.
My ride is built on fine Yugoslavian engineering. What's yours? American? |

Exactly, your Sentra.
Don't get me wrong though. I'm a sucka for buying a car with these minimum requirements. |

I had to put de la verde in Mex a while back because I was running very low. I only put about $8 USD and it ran fine.
I have no idea how many gallons those $8 got me. |

| Yeah, Green = 87 octane, Red = 91 octane. Most people fill up with the red stuff, but since my car isn't fuel injected 87 is fine for me. |

I really don't remember what I fueled up with that night. It could've been camel piss and I wouldn't have known the difference at the time. |
