Ay yi yi yi yi...

CALEXICO — An assistant superintendent in charge of human resources at the Calexico Unified School District lacks experience, is portrayed as aloof by employees and has contributed to inefficiency and confusion, according to a study.

I knew playing referee for WWF-style wrestling matches with students at Jefferson would one day catch up to you.

How embarassing. I spent time at Jefferson in the third and fourth grade -- a total of just a few weeks -- and I hated that place. I hated the teachers, I hated the staff, I hated every rule they had (why split boys and girls at lunch?!). Now I know why that place sucked.

this study sounds bias from the start. how can they blame one person in that department. It trickles up and down that school board personnel as a whole, starting from Alvarez to Rivera to Alvarado, down to admin assistants and all cusd staff. Typical Calexican politricks, pointing the finger at one person. Que culeros.

According to the IV Press report, "The study was conducted by the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team, a consulting group created by law to help districts comply with accountability standards". I don't know which law created that team, but it doesn't sound like Calexico politics. If a department within the district is a complete mess, doesn't it make sense that the head of that department would be held responsible?

Guess who spearheaded the study, Alvarez Rivera Alvarado got on a plan to audit and point the finger at Pacheco without letting him know. Its politricks, how can it not be?

Simply put, the study is flawed. what methodology did they use?

Pacheco will stand strong, he's good for Calexico.

I don't think Pacheco will win the city council race.

It might be a good idea for him to donate all his plywood used for the campaign to a build a new full-size half pipe at the Nosotros Skate Park.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious someone is setting him up as the scapegoat, but if the FCMAT study is blatantly making it clear that there is incompetence at the head of the district HR department, then something's gotta change.

Maybe someone should push for a report on the entire district.

Well, it's not like this dead weight is going to voluntarily resign. They'll stick around collecting paychecks doing just enough not to get fired.
