Yes, since the 16th, today, is actually the real date calexico was incorporated according to my sources, there is a cake cutting ceremony at the kiki library today. i believe at 530. It is open to the public for everybody to go.

| I was at the ELKS the other day and I heard that the CALEXICO POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION is thinking of hosting a candidtate forum at the ELKS LODGE. All of the Candidates intrested should contact CPOA President Rudy Alarcon. |

It's good to hear there are other efforts to create debates and forums.
I'm still looking into the possibility of Calecia.com holding its own. The goal would be to make it informative and entertaining, so hopefully we can pull it off.
I know this may sound stupid, but do we have any local amateur comedians? |

and whats this about " special Meetings " that the council gets paid 2-400 bucks per meeting? |
