Stop sign at Clinton and Meadows Dr. Please.....

Just saw another near miss accident at the intersection. A stop sign really needs to get put up there for the Clinton N/S traffic.

Even while going to work I notice I have to pull out almost halfway into Clinton street to see if there is any on coming traffic. After I've made a complete stop at the stop sign.

Going West you have full view on your left hand side because of the vacant dirt lot. But on your right side there's cars parked along the street and makes it difficult to see if a car is sneekily coming down the road.

Going East you have no view on your right because of a wooden fence and home on the corner. And your left side is blocked by cars parked along the street.

Does anyone else seem to think there's a problem. Maybe I'm getting senile with old age.... Aargggghhhh!

i go by there once a week and never have any problems. there's too many stop signs as it is.

It is a problem, sorta.

I've been very careful ever since sakurob brought this problem to our attention. I haven't YET to almost be involved in an accident there, but every time I see a car driving east or west I will almost always yield because you just cannot trust any stupid drivers these days.

I have noticed a lot more cars passing through this intersection on Clinton and Meadows, so I would agree with sakurob that there should be stop signs on ALL four ways.

I also do tend to drive slower around this area too, because there are a few kids that are playing outside as well as a few dudes drinking outside about 5 outta 10 times I go by.

The other alternative would be to paint the corners red so cars aren't parking so close to it, but even though there's always an old blue full-size truck on the corner blocking your view.

I see the problem you're talking about now. The wooden fence on the corner house completely blocks your view from cars going north. Not at all safe for drivers who aren't cautious.

now I get the pothole mess in mex! they leave the potholes so that people dont zoom down the street!!!! Thats probably the logic behind not fixing the streets in Calexico too.... Those nifty politicans, Im telling you man... they are the real deal!!!!

People would make the stops if the Police Dept. would give those offenders tickets. Drive down Meadows Dr. and along Cole Rd. Nobody makes the complete stops. It's like if you are in Mexicali. California stops galore.......I invite everyone to come to this area whenever you feel like sticking it to the polcice department. Feel free to blow the stop signs........you won' get caught.
