What is up, what is up, what is up with the La Jolla Palms Retail Center?
With the retail center being named "La Jolla" can we expect high-end designer shops to open up there: Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli, True Religion, Rock 'n' Republic? Please no A/X, DKNY, Guess, Eddie Bauer... no manches. |

| A Ben Sherman store would be nice. I have only seen one, and it's in LA. How succesful would it be in the valley, though? |

There was actually a store in EC at the Valley Plaza that had Ben Sherman and some other mod-like wear. Went outta biz though.
It's impossible to make these clothes fit baggy and sag even with XXXL sizes.
The best store for this kind of clothing in SD is probably The Jeanery at Fashion Valley Mall. Not sure if the Vespa shop on 30th Ave. has any good clothes. Never been there, but was told they have real deep discounts on Ben Sherman, Fred Perry, Gola and similar brands. |

yeah, really. I guess the developers aren't big on being subtle. I'm surprised they didn't call it the "Fifth Avenue des Champs-Elysees Retail Center", or better yet, "We Want You To Think Rich People Would Shop Here Center". |
