Jesse "The Body" Ventura (pictured above in the right [back in the 80s]) could be making a run for president of the United States. The former governor of Minnesota insinuated the White House could use a wrestler for prez. If he teams up with The Hulkster, they could back break and leg drop their way into office in 2008.

Anyone can still run for prez in 2008. He would most likely run as a member of the Independence Party.

My old Marine Corps sergeant worked for then-Governor Ventura in Minnesota. Bernie was the Commissioner of Veteran's Affairs for Minnesota under Governor Arne Carlson and Governor Ventura asked him to stay (the only cabinet officer he kept). Bernie said he was a great guy to work for and really tuned in to people. His only complaint was that the Governor actually led PT each morning for his staff and cabinet. Bernie retired when Governor Ventura left office. I suspect we could do worse......

PT as in Personal Time?

I read earlier that his is NOT running for prez after all, which is quite a bummer.

It may have been April 1st, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good idea. PT: physical training. Bernie became a food blister after he retired and hated doing PT before work at the state headquarters. He said that the Governor was a very low key guy who just wanted folks to do their jobs with a little common sense. He really admired him as a boss.
