I approached you this Monday. Quite frankly I'm not into politics all that much, but I work for the Calex Chronicle, yeh it's low budget and I'm not sure if people pick it up at all, but maybe I could get you some exposure.
In regards to your question... why don't you talk to Karla Alatorre? She's the Event Media Specialist and new Mistress of Ceremonies... basically just does the PR. She's pretty friendly and will probably direct you to the right people.

For everybody still reading,
On April 27th, I'm having a Barbacoa Fundraiser, that I have been selling tickets for. I will have a bouncer for the kids and free drinks will be provided. I will have some flyers displaying my objectives, and some signs and shirts and other little freebies. From 12pm-4pm at 109 W. Highway 98 here in Calexico
On May 15, I will be having a meet and greet mixer at Applebee's from 6pm-9pm. Food and Drinks will be provided courtesy of Applebee's. Same sort of thing will be happening just that I wil be circulating flyers and other forms of advertisement to get as many people there as possible to meet as many potential voters as I can.
If you can attend either event, I will glady like to meet you and talk to you.
