Purple and Gold gelling at Staples center. #1 spot in the West, looks like its going to be Denver Nugs round one in playoffs.

Kobe MVP.

The Nuggets are not playing well lately. This could be a good match up for the Lake Show. I've been following them closely for a good 14 years, but I was skeptical about this team. I felt like they underachieved the past two years (believe it or not), and I wasn't convinced they were winners. I'm beginning to believe. If they can get anything from Bynum at all, it will be icing on the cake.

If anything DEFENSE wins championships and the Lake show proved great defense this past wkend in beating New Orleans and San Antonio. They already have an edge on Denver since Melo got busted for DUI this morning. Lamar is so effective when Gasol is in the lineup, the pressure is off him and he plays hard grabbing rebounds and pounds in points in the paint. Fisher's leadership skills is making Sasha and Farmar into better point guards. Kobe is enjoying the ride. WIll a Bynum return hurt the Laker chemistry?

I say no. They don't need him to do a lot. When he is totally healthy next season, the Lakers are going to be even more amazing. I really have trouble believing it's real.

denver is a team you don't want to play in the playoffs, they sneaked in, but they do have stars that will step it up

no way new orleans will beat dallas, paul is not 100%

spurs will beat the suns in 6

utah will take care of houston in 6 or 7, i'm pretty confident on this one, but utah has let me down before

Lakers in five (Denver is a mess)

Dallas in six (that team is playing much better of late, while the Hornets are playing much worse)

Phoenix in six (Shaq owns, owns, owns Duncan. I can't wait for the Diesel to finish tainting Duncan's legacy as one of the NBA's all time great big men)

Jazz in four (easily)

Phoenix will exit first round. I just dont see the Spurs losing with Ginobli back in the lineup.
