anyone been to an NBA game? Lakers, Clippers, Suns?? They're freaking expensive. I went to a Clippers-Heat game last year at the Staples Center and the ticket stub read $170. Good thing it was a gift for my b-day.

After all, this is a league that had to move the 3 point line in because so many players couldn’t shoot and scoring was down.

When did this happen?

It happened a few years ago and Dana Barros of the Celts became a lethal scorer overnight. They moved the three-point line back by the way.

It is true that the game is not as defensive as it was in the Ninties. The league is a lot more run and gun, like in the eighties. During Jordan's days the league started to promote individuals and not the game itself. Today's game is faster, displays better team play, and is much more entertaining than it has been in a long time. It is breathtaking to watch the Suns score in five seconds, it really is. I think Verbal is crazy if he thinks that any season of the Ninties has been as good as this one has been. Crazy.

Just got the news at espn.com that Yao is out for the season with a broken foot. That sucks, and I really mean that.

I've been to a few Soles' games. Isn't it the same quality basketball, but for $15 VIP seating?

I dont know what it is about basketball i just cant sit down drink a beer and watch a game the game is so not worthy. i remember growing up i couldnt wait for NBA inside stuff with Mohamed Rashad and the best day of the week was sunday getting to watch the Bull againts the Knicks or the Bulls owning the lakers. i know there's plenty of good players out their but i guess its just not the same when we used to have MJ,
Aids Man, Isiah thomas, Karl Malone, Hakeem, David Robinson, Patrick Chango Ewing, it might just be me but i think basketball sucks now. with all these damn thugs and also Army Brats raping poor little white girls in Colorado what a Shame im surprised the Lakers hire such a sexual offender i would be worried for the fans he might strike again. Laughing about the only Decent players left in the league are T-Mac And Yao.

You probably just miss the players wearing those tight ass short shorts from back in the day.

Sucks to think that Yao may not be able to represent his nation during the Olympics being held in China.

Los Soles, i've heard some good stuff about them. Comparing them to the bad news Aguilas, i hear the Soles get down in basketball with Llamas and other blacks. Recently i heard they got ran out of some city during their playoff game, they got cups of beer or whatever (piss usually in mexican sports events) thrown at them and they had to forfeit the game. Always coming from Mexico do we hear these stories.
