I've always wondered what happens to the losing teams' merchandise after a Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, etc. Do they burn it? That can't be, as you occasionally will see the guy that cleans your windshield at the line wearing a "Super Bowl XXVI Champions Buffalo Bills", and then think to yourself, "What? They didn't win that!"

I guess, now I know. This year's "Super Bowls XLII Champions New England Patriots" shirts have ended up in Nicaragua.

Man, those Nicaraguans must have American pop-culture all wrong.

Collector's items.

What realneo would do for four straight years of consecutive Super Bowl "wins" by the Buffalo Bills caps and t-shirts. Or how about 1997 and 1998 Utah Jazz NBA Finals Champions caps.

Usually, when a team has the kind of success the Bills had during that run, you see a bunch of people jumps on the bandwagon. Yet, realneo was the only Bills fan I ever knew in person. It was pretty fun hearing him defend them.

The only braver soul I knew when it came to sports was Crackaine (hope I spelled that right). Dude was a clippers fan in the late nineties when the Lakers were taking off. When the Clips had that nice playoff run a couple of years ago, I thought of Crackaine often.

I have only met four Bills fans. I met two of them years after their Super Bowl runs.
