Yeah, I read the Krishna prediction too...

I'm predicting a 6.x before the week ends. -- elchrist the Prophet.

Nothing to worry, nothing to see. Now, if Walter Mercado said the end was near, then I'll be worried.

word on the streets of mexicali is that all of the digging and fucking around in el cierro prieto is causing all this. to save a buck, these motherfuckers are filling up the volcano with cheap material, thats preventing heat to get out and causing it to tremble. now they are filling it up with the right material, but it's probably to the point where it doesnt matter. so it either works or they are expecting a "terremoto". these are man-made earthquakes. so watch out and keep clear from shit falling on you

Anyone know if earthquake insurance will cover quakes caused by incompetence?

What about lava insurance? Does that exist?

No que no... "triggered" quakes over a decade ago in the Cerro Prieto region:

"A continuous monitoring of the Cerro Prieto geothermal field was carried out from August 1994 to December 1995 to investigate the seismicity of tectonic origin and the seismicity triggered by exploitation activities..."

Is anyone else totally over these earthquakes? Now, every time it shakes I get a little pissed because I wish we would just have a huge quake and be done with it.
