I can't believe none of you Laker fans have posted this yet. The Lakers got Pau Gassol and all it cost the Lakers was Kwame "rubber hands" Brown, rookie Javaris Crittenton and two first-round draft picks.

The Lakers should go deep in the playoffs this year.

When I found out this news on Sunday, I was stoked. If I wore jerseys, I'd wear his.

And what do you mean "you Laker fans?" Remember what happened to Ross Perot?

It's like not talking to your pitcher in the middle of a no-hitter.

Can't wait for Kobe to dunk on Shaq.

He has always been a Shaq lover. So fitting.

ESPN is already salivating over the ratings for their February 20th game.

I've got to say that the Suns getting Shaq is huge -- for the Lakers. They are finally the most feared team in the West again, and Kerr's desperate move shows it. It feels good to have the Lakers back where they belong even though: A) The Lakers have been terrible in tight games this year, which used to be everyone's worst nightmare thanks to Kobe (they blew yet another tight game tonight to the HAWKS!). B) I've got no clue how healthy Gasol will remain or how well he will blend in with the Lakers' various egos or even how he will react to playing under the spotlight of the NBA's biggest market. And C) If Bynum will really be 100% come playoff time.

I'm really happy with the state of the Lakers, but I still worry.
