It was funny because we kept asking to put the volume on the MEX vs. USA game and the workers kept blowing us off. It wasn't until some of us went up to ask the main manager/owner during the Lakers vs. Hawks halftime that we got our request fulfilled. I still don't think it was us that convinced them to turn the audio on, but more the white US Soccer fan that came up right behind us. Thank you to the US fan for backing us MX fans.
What was even funnier was that everyone started paying attention to the game and cheering on. To think that no one else actually asked to turn the volume on due to possible prior experiences.
We need a REAL local sports bar in Calexico and/or Imperial Valley. |

| I wonder why no one has said anything about the USA 3rd goal being taken away. I don't know what the hell that call was, but it should of counted, and the USA would of beat Mexico once again. David Faitelson formerly with TV Azteca now with ESPN Deportes made a great comment, about how Hugo is making the Mexico team conform to a 2-2 tie (should of been 3-2) and they all come back saying how they felt great cause they felt they could of won the game, bla bla bla... Hugo used the wrong lineup. Villaluz should of started. i was surprised with Bofo's play, although in my eyes he should not be there, and WILL not be there once Nery recovers. Never ever again will I go to Burgers and Beers, what a dumb piece of shit owner. Most of the people there were mexicans and a few americans watching the soccer game, yet he chose to leave the Lakers vs Hawks audio on cause about 4 people were watching the game. It took a few of us to get up and tell him to change the fucken audio during the Laker halftime for him to change it. Then he saw that EVERYBODY in there was cheering and applauding during the soccer game, so he left the Audio on the soccer game the rest of the time. Could not believe that I was told to keep it down, along with the table next to me during the game. FUCK B & B! I'm definitely boycotting them. |

Bad calls are part of any sport. Scoreboard is what counts. Losers who dwell on the refs, and say ‘would of beat’, or ‘should have been’ are just that losers.
As for David Faitelson, he has to find any way to spin it his way. He has an agenda. I agree with him in part, that Mexico may be a little conformed to the 2-2 as a visitor. However, Mexico has been looking for an identity and they found that.
Hugo’s main mission is to prepare his team for the Olympics and the World Cup. Winning every game, especially against the US, is a goal, but should not define this process. |

That supposedly 3rd goal by the US was clearly an off-side play by 1ft or 2. Good call by the Ref. Vamos Muchachos! Next game Mex vs China,
April the 6th. Location: Somewhere in the USA. Most Likely in Cali. |
