Another proposition that is in the midst of being passed will once again, as is the case, screw the middle class.
The rich don't need any financial help, and the poor always have the government to turn to. The middle class is always left to be screwed.
IVC's tuition's might increase by more than double in tuition, which is no big deal if you qualify for BOGG or Financial Aid, but those people don't qualify for it, and still struggle to put food on the table will have to struggle even more now.

| Presently a full-time student enrolled in 15 units pays $165 per semester. Under Davis' proposed budget students would pay $360 per semester, a more than 100 percent increase. |

This truly sucks for the middle class. Even to get into a university students who qualify get grants and shit, i got loans.
Now students will have to get bigger loans then the ones i got. That fucking sucks. I read some where also that with all the baby boom shit more students will be graduating from high school and more students will be going to college so that means colleges will raise their prices or raise their standard of accepting students. |

don't feel bad. it won't only be ivc. it will be statewide. that's what happened when you people voted that dumbass gay davis into office then kept him in. i never voted for the man. those that did vote for him have no one to blame but themselves. power crisis, education cuts, deficit, now community college fee increasing 100%. thank you voters! |

Governor Gray Davis has proposed a 1% California sales tax increase, which will most likely happen.
+1 for online shopping. |
This is only going to hurt the California economy more. If I can buy something online and out of state, to avoid CA tax, I do. Soon, everyone is going to start doing this. If it does get raised 1%, it won't be very long before we're paying 10% CA tax. That is ridiculous, when you think that some states pay 5%. When taxes are raised, the economy suffers. |

Unfortunately, there are some states that are trying to make you pay state taxes even if you buy something from out of state online.
