When I first went in to the place I was wondering at what point the rats were gonna take a seat next to me and start eating too. |
I don't know what your problem is spic-ole, but today I had lunch at Mah's Kitchen for the first time in my life and I believe that this just happens to be the best Chinese food restaurant in the Imperial Valley*.
It's actually a pretty good eating experience. No waiters to deal with, you order up front and they tell when your meal is ready. The food is the best tasting Chinese I've had in a long time. I ordered some Kung Pao Chicken and it was very good. It didn't taste greasy, but flavorful.
I also like the kitchen setup... in plain view. No secrets from the cooks so you can guarantee your food will only contain food. The place was clean as well.
Maybe you like eating at fancy Chinese places like La Mission, but I thought Mah's Kitchen was very good. It is also unique in comparison to the rest of this cuisine. Kind of a diner-ish feel to it.
* That I've tried. |

Kung Pao!
Chances are, they read my post, and changed their ways. I've gone once, over a year ago, and it was horrible. Maybe it's better now, maybe you've eaten coconut soup one too many times and burned off your taste buds. I'm not going back there again to find out.*
*Unless someone wants to treat me. |

I recently ate from Yum Yum's and I the quality has definitely gone up. I think it's back to being the best chinese food in Calexico.
I heard they got a new cook. I don't know if this is true, but whatever it is, the food definitely tastes a lot better. |

True. Yum Yum's is probably the best in Calexico. It actually tastes like food.

I went to Golden Dragon last sunday and I have to say they did a good job remodeling the place. I regret to say the food was not at the level of the place as some of the food, Pollo almendrado and Broccoli, tasted like soap or something. I don't know what happend to the place because it used to be good. |

Their remodeling was expensive, so to get a ROI they purchased cheaper ingredients? |
