I recently stumbled onto some artsy film site called Stylus.com that ranked U.N.K.L.E's "Rabbit in You Headlights" as the best music videos of all time. I saw the video, and from an artsy point of view, sure.
Enough metaphors to make any beret wearing, finger snapping, chai-tea drinking viewer cower at its awesomeness. However, for the average person that doesn't need to have his or her world turned upside down by its entertainment, I thought it was good, but not the best.
This got me thinking, what are the best music videos of all time.
I immediately thought of Chemical Brother's "Star Guitar."
It's the nuances that make the video. No explosions, just some really cool video effects that seem to sync perfectly with the music.
